Fibroids – modern, personalised treatment: the balance between organ preservation and hysterectomy

Fibroids are among the most common benign conditions affecting the uterus and require different treatment approaches depending on their size, location and symptoms. The range of treatments available today extends from conservative and pharmacological approaches, through minimally invasive and organ-preserving methods, to hysterectomy.

As part of our event, we will provide referring doctors with a concise, practical overview of the current options for fibroid treatment. Using modern treatment concepts and specific case studies, we will highlight the factors that are crucial when deciding on an individual treatment plan. The central question is: Which treatment is right for which patient?

Together, we will examine the possibilities and limitations of the various procedures and discuss their significance in clinical practice – with the aim of enabling a well-informed and individually tailored treatment decision.
