The sports surgery department at Zollikerberg Hospital specialises in the treatment of sports injuries. The aim is to achieve the fastest possible rehabilitation and return to sport. Among other things, arthroscopies are performed to treat meniscus damage in the knee joint or injuries in the shoulder area, open or arthroscopic stabilisation procedures, tendon transfers and plasty, treatment of cartilage damage or ligament reconstructions using the body's own material, such as in the case of cruciate ligament ruptures.
