Children's permanence
We treat several thousand emergencies every year with dedication and expertise in the paediatric per-manence department at Zollikerberg Hospital.
In an emergency - especially in the evening or at the weekend - an uncomplicated and competent paediatric contact point is particularly important. Our experienced paediatricians provide immediate assistance without the need for an appointment. Our services are aimed at children and adolescents up to their 16th birthday.

We prioritise according to the severity of the disease
If several children need support at the same time, we first carry out an immediate initial assessment and prioritise treatment according to the severity of the illness. Our aim is to ensure that every child receives the best possible care. Therefore, we do not follow the order of arrival, but follow an established emergency concept.
Further information for you
- If necessary, we can carry out emergency ultrasound examinations (abdomen, chest, skull, soft tissue, bones and joints).
- You can obtain the necessary medication directly from our in-house pharmacy.
- We carry out important laboratory tests immediately in our own practice laboratory.
- We have a wide range of bandages and splints available for post-accident treatment. If a plaster cast is required, we can provide your child with the most common types of plaster cast. In the case of very complicated fractures, we will refer your child to the appropriate centres.
