Sabina Decurtins is a nursing expert and, as Head of Education, is passionate about education and training. One of her passions? As chief expert in the "Health and Social Care" category, she is playing a key role in shaping this year's World Professional Championships.
Sabina Decurtins travelled to the WorldSkills Competition 2022 Special Edition in charming Bordeaux (FR) from 12 to 22 October and provided 14 young participants and 16 experts from all over the world with an unforgettable experience. Irina Tuor (gold medallist, Abu Dhabi) was also there as co-expert for Switzerland.
In addition to the friendly competition for the medal places, the exchange of good nursing practice among the experts and participants is an important purpose of WorldSkills. It brings nursing together across the world. Especially in difficult times, it is important to show what nursing as a profession can contribute to the healthcare system. We congratulate them on their great achievements and are delighted with the valuable experience they have gained.
